Smoke free signs aplenty
At Nicorette Smoke Free you can get your own custom smoke free signs and posters. ‘So what’ you’re probably thinking well these are really neat posters that aren’t just blatantly nagging you to stop. Registering with the site will give you lots of cool tools to help create better, more positive ways to tackle smoking in the workplace.
The site also allows the workplace to create their own online site and office policies too. Their posters are great which explain in layman’s terms how you can cut down to stop, understand Nicotine myths and provide some fantastic tips to help. These are all downloadable and available to print out in PDF format.
Nicorette also provides support with their online Active Stop programme.

(Not) smoking in clubs – pros and cons
You must read this excellently crafted article about the non smoking club/gig experience. I must admit, being a non-smoker, i was looking forward to my first club/rave night since the ban. As others mentioned the sweet(lol) smell of sweat takes over from where smoke left off. Personally i’d chose smelling this than getting lung cancer any day of the week.
Smoking ban pros and cons based on a non-smoker:
Pros
No more passive smoking
I can smell/enjoy my beer more (especially if it’s Leffe, mmmm)
I can smell perfume/deodorant/after shave (not everyone has poor personal hygiene – most make an effort)
My eyes don’t sting
I can use my clothes the next day (depending on how heavy the night was of course
)
My friends that smoke have to go outside *points and shouts HA HA*
My clothes that i spend hard earned cash on are no longer subject to ciggie burns
I can dance more care free because of point above
Cons
None in my opinion
