Dedicated to my mother-in-law Mumma K

This was blog was originally started out to celebrate the countdown to the UK smoking ban in public places. This was a great victory. The blog was also used as a way to vent frustration against the passive smoking i had to go through while being at my now wife’s parents house.

Sadly in November 2008 Mumma K, my soon to be mother-in-law, was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. A horrible injustice. After a year and 4 months Mumma K lost her battle against the terrible disease. I added a few blog posts along the journey for all to read – to hopefully give every smoker that reads it an extra impetus to give up.

Rest in peace, Caroline King (Mumma K), love you always x
